StopSO Patron – Chief Constable Simon Bailey (QPM) of Norfolk Constabulary
Patron and supporter, Simon Bailey has been a police officer for 29 years, serving predominantly as a detective in King’s Lynn and Norwich. He is currently the Chief Constable of Norfolk Constabulary and in January 2014 he became the National Police Chiefs Council lead for Child Protection and Investigation. In January 2016, he was awarded the Queen’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service.

A leading researcher and an expert in the field of paedophilia, trained at Boston University (M.A.) and McGill University (PhD) with appointments including Associate Professor (University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine), Editor-in-Chief (Sexual Abuse: A Journal of Research and Treatment, official journal of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers), and Senior Scientist (Centre for Addiction and Mental Health).
Prevention Project Dunkelfeld
The project began in Berlin in 2005 and now encompasses several sites all over Germany. The goal is the establishment of a comprehensive, nationwide therapeutic offer for people seeking therapeutic help with their sexual preference for children and/or early adolescents.
