A research project from a Forensic Psychology Doctoral student of the University of Birmingham is looking for participants with a sexual interest in children to complete a questionnaire. 

This anonymous survey specifically explores three areas:

1) what coping strategies you use,

2) how effective you feel they are in managing your mental health, and keeping yourself and others safe (i.e., not engaging in sexual behaviour with children),

3) your views about self-control. 

This online survey should take about 20-30 minutes to complete.

You will have the option to not answer certain questions if you feel too uncomfortable or if you do not understand the questions. However, we would appreciate it if you could answer as many questions as possible with honesty.

The results of the study will help us to understand your experiences better and also help us to develop more appropriate ways of supporting individuals like yourself.
